If you already have Microsoft SMS or SCCM collecting inventory, ECM can directly and seamlessly import that data. You can use SMS/SCCM data exclusively or in conjunction with ECM inventory.
- Connectors to other inventory systems adapted to your needs
ManageSoft's inventory connector can be configured to connect to other third party IT inventory solutions to meet your specific needs.

Collecting the raw inventory data is the first step. Making sense of it is a much bigger challenge. Application installation evidence comes in a myriad of forms - .EXE and .DLL file headers, registry keys, MSI database settings, WMI evidence, etc.
ECM uses a comprehensive Application Recognition Library (ARL) to convert all the raw inventory data into a list of application titles.
