Oracle license models

ECM manages the two primary license models used by Oracle:

• Named User Plus (NUP)—ECM combines information about NUP user minimums with customer user details to calculate an Oracle license position
• Processor based licenses—ECM has built-in, predefined and customizable license templates. The information in the license template is combined with server hardware information and Oracle inventory data to allow an Oracle license position to be determined.
