SAM Workshop

The SAM Workshop is a tailored one- to two-week working session for your key SAM personnel, conducted by a SAM process and license specialist.  We examine your internal processes and data flows and help you define effective methods for ongoing IT asset and license management based on SAM best practices.  You can choose from and prioritize a list of SAM topics to be included in your workshop. Implementation Services

ECM: Our Enterprise Compliance Manager (ECM) implementation service provides a design workshop that involves key stakeholders in scope definition and the assembly of SAM data in a central repository that is easily accessible by SAM practitioners. The completed implementation allows you to lock in additional cost savings through process automation, optimized license procurement, and reductions in maintenance renewals. EDS: ManageSoft consultants also provide a full range of implementation services for the ManageSoft Enterprise Deployment Suite (EDS) products. These services include the design and implementation of deployment architectures, processes for patch management and software/OS deployment, and advice on security configuration issues.

SAM Connectors

Your enterprise has its own unique processes that may involve a variety of data from multiple sources including spreadsheets, databases, financial, procurement, and proprietary systems. Our professional services team can develop specialized “connectors” that import purchases, contracts, third-party inventory, corporate structure, and user information from your existing systems into our Enterprise Compliance Manager database. Application Recognition Library Update Service

The ARL Update Service is provided by ManageSoft to update application titles in our customer’s Application Recognition Library, based on inventory data in ManageSoft, Microsoft SMS, or Microsoft SCCM format. This service processes application installation evidence and yields software application titles, versions, editions and publisher information that are added to the customer’s Application Recognition Library. License Compliance Service

The License Compliance Service (LCS) helps customers establish a Level 3* Compliance effective license position for the designated software publisher(s). LCS is currently available for Microsoft, Adobe, and Oracle databases.  [*Level 1 Compliance involves determining which applications are installed; Level 2 includes matching licenses purchased to installed applications; Level 3 establishes an effective license position taking into account all of the unique product usage rights (PUR) and restrictions of the licenses purchased from designated software vendors.]
